R.N. POSITION: Permanent Fulltime

Westford is a licensed 30-bed nursing home committed to person-centered care and to enhancing the quality of life of our residents and the work life of staff, while partnering with our community and other health care providers.  The Home is situated in rural southeast New Brunswick, minutes from the N.S. border and within 40 minutes drive to Moncton, N.B. and P.E.I.  We are currently seeking R.N. staff to lead our nursing care team and be part of an exceptional team of caring individuals!

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and be eligible for registration in N.B. as a Registered Nurse

  • Able to work independently

  • Good communication and leadership skills

  • Available for shift work and weekends; Excellent attendance record

  • Physically and mentally fit to perform all duties

  • Aptitude to learn nursing informatics software and be part of a leading edge provincial initiative to implement the Resident Assessment Instrument – Long Ter Care Form (RAI-LTCF)

  • Current First Aid/CPR Certification

  • New graduates may be eligible for the Canada Student Loan Forgiveness Program

Salary commensurate with qualifications and NBNU Collective agreement.
